City News

* Keep Storm Drains Clear: Property owners or tenants shall keep all storm drains on private property or on City property adjacent to or near their property free and clear of debris, including leaves and grass clippings.

* The burning of yard debris may only be done in the City of Chenoa on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays only. When burning (yard waste only) make sure that you are not burning on City property, the wind is below 10 mph and that the fire is closely monitored at all times.

 

Benefit for Rosie

A benefit will beheld June 17th from 5-8 pm at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Chenoa for Rosie VanHouten, Peace Meals Co-ordinator, who is undergoing kidney dialysis treatments. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, applesauce, dessert and a drink.Carry outs available
Prices are:
*Adults $6
*Children ages 3-12 $4
*Under 3 - FREE
Lots of prizes to be raffled off. All proceeds go toward Rosie's medical expenses. Donations accepted.

If your child is between the ages of 4-6 and lives in Chenoa, submit an enrty form and 2 4x6 pictures for the display jars that will be at Heartland Bank and State Bank of Graymont starting June 8.

- Nominate any person who you think is an outstanding citizen and active participant in our community, nominations due June 19th

Newsletter Submissions

     The City of Chenoa is pleased to accept submissions for the monthly newsletter. We will take items from any organization regarding community events. Articles should be submitted by the 1st of the month to clerk@chenoail.org and should be relevant from the 5th of the current month to the 1st of the next month. City items will take priority for space but an effort will be made to accommodate all. Any questions please feel free to call Ann at City Hall at 815-945-7619.
